I just got mine and am in the early stages of mods, TT, cut tires blah blah blah. Ive wondered this myself and ive used this thread Axle Breakdown Pics, NOT DIALUP FRIENDLY! to get some general ideas, so far ive come up with not much yet, a few ideas here and there, but nothing real concrete as of yet. If you come up with something let me know. |

The only thing you can do is go to hg electronics to really get rid of the huge steering box. Or you can mount the steering box on the front of the axle, but I wouldn't recomend that. You just have the huge box on the front instead of the rear, not really getting any smaller. And it's more important to have the clearence on the front of the axle than the rear. With the box on the rear at least it can slide over stuff.

Yeah, one of the top couple limiting factors of the Nylint is the front axle. Not really anything you can do with it IMO. Shave the back, stick it, put a lighter, smaller body on it, and enjoy. -=Nash |
