Default maxstone 10

Today I helped a friend who is wanting to get into crawling out with his maxstone 10 and let me tell you from all the investigating that I have done this is basically an ax10 as far as tranny and axles go. He was excited to find this out as he was wanting to do underdrive and overdrive on his axles. I think there should be a thread in the comp rig section for these rigs as I think we will be seeing a ton more of these around for 125 dollars

heres how they look stock

here it is after 5 hours at my house with an old dna slingshot chassis I had laying around

let us know what you think!

Looks cool, way to bring her down to earth and hug the rocks! Also for a little over a hundred I'm interested in how these hold up.

The only real problem with them is that the plastic is crap. My buddy had one and it took a tumble. Where most others would have snapped a knuckle or c-hub, he snapped his axle case. He also blew his transmission gear out pretty quickly.

They are great if you don't plan to get serious with them. Otherwise in the end you'll end up spending just as much or more as you would if you had bought an Axial.

They are actually very very similar to the AX10. There are however subtle differences that make interchanging parts with the AX-10 tricky.
