Let me tell you something. I am a USA-1 owner, and stock they suck...suck alot. If your good at building and have an open mind they can be made into something very impressive. Most of my theories aren't proven yet but I haven't run into any snags. So if your not into recreating your own truck, with your 2 hands..because there is no aftermarket for them, get a clod or txt. IMO

same as the 2 above and if the reserse is any where near the buy it now price it's not worth it with the mods it'll need like mod chassis and bell crank system or direct steer system.

That would be a great truck for a collector...BUT...without heavy mods and many hours of fab work they aren't much good. You should look for something like this http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...947406680&rd=1 for a starter truck.

I have 2 Clods
A Jugg2/TXT hybrid
A Wild Dagger all highly modded
Good Luck

As far as gearing you can pretty much use any size pinion you want. That in conjunction with a couple lathe motors you should be fine.
