Thumbs down Ridgecrest esc / remote

I have a ridgecrest problem? I trailed for about 40 mins and the truck lost the power to the motor could not go forward or reverse but still had steering. I tried to bind following the manual and i only have forward motion no reverse. NO DRAG BRAKE.

Running a turnigy 2s lipo 6000 and 5200 mah, motor new 20T SATURN. Had the ridgcrest since Oct 2012.

Im upgrading my motor to a Novak 13.5t system will my stock radio work with this system?

Your radio and receiver will work with a new ESC and motor just fine. If you bound the radio to receiver again, you'll also need to recalibrate the ESC to the radio. To do it you'll need to follow the calibration procedure, but it's essentially this:
1. hold full throttle and turn on speed control (keep holding full throttle).
2. When it beeps go full reverse and hold until it beeps again.
3. Go to neutral and leave it there until it beeps again.
4. Wait
5. Wait - then you'll hear the beep again and you can drive.

Also make sure your trims are at neutral as it will cause the ESC to think you are applying throttle and will not let the ESC arm.
