You need to correct your driveline angles so that the shafts don't bind. By adding some length to your upper links it will clock the axle forward, raising your angle at the output of the axle.

You can try longer rod ends on the upper links. That will be the easiest cheapest way. A picture of your drivelines would really be helpful.

The rod ends are just that. The ends of the link rods that screw on with an eyelet. Bottom line is, you need to make your upper links a little longer to raise the driveline at the axle. As far as photos, look in the Newbie Section Stickies. That's what that section is for.

how do you make the upper links longer? and ohh okay ill have to look at that. the drivelines are just a tad off cause if i press the shocks down a tad bit the drivelines dont bind up.

the stock links that come with the honcho in the extra parts bag are a tad bit shorter what if i put those in place of the lower links would that change the angle?

I'm picturing 125mm shocks, which are making the truck sit way too high. If you want to keep the shocks you'll need to make shock towers that raise the upper mounts, which will lower the ride height and solve all your other problems. Mount them with the springs off and at full compression. You want the shocks to bottom just before the rear truss contacts the frame crossmember and the front tie rod contacts the frame. It's pretty easy to make 4 plates out of steel or aluminum to replace the stock plastic shock mounts. Drill a bunch of mounting holes in them so you can fine tune the location later on.

Trim the body and keep the truck low. The added clearance from the 2.2's should be plenty. You might want to raise the body/rear tray to clear the tires at full compression travel.

You'll want to gear down for the 2.2's if your truck came with the 20 tooth pinion. Your all set if it came with the 14 tooth pinion .

You could also limit the shocks by adding fuel tubing to the shock shaft inside the shock body. This should solve your problem with out making taller shock towers. Good luck.

Add fuel tubing where there ax10 green shocks I'm pretty sure there 117mm or 120mm way to big so where do you add the tubing

you will have to dissasemble the WHOLE shock to do the fuel tubing mod, you take off the cap, discard the oil in the shock, remove the end on the shaft(use a rag to hold the shaft in a pair of FLAT SMOOTH pliers so as to not mar up the shaft!!) and slide it out of the shock, than you will need to cut 10-15mm of fuel tubing and slide it on the shaft(this will limit the length of the shock bringing the height down a small bit) re-assemble in reverse oil.. DO NOT FORGET TO RE-OIL THE SHOCKS!!!! and you should be golden.
