Dont think the FXRs have a dig mode thats why he is using the Novak Elec Dig unit.
I use the Novak M2 Dig twin motor ESC and it does all the FXR and the Dig unit does in one package.
But some people dont like the Novak stuff but i have never had any problems or trouble with mine!

Ditch the Dig if you are planning on using a 3PMX or better radio, you can program one of the switches to cut the ESC, cleaner, faster and no Novak electronics.

Dude this isn't a build if you scammed some guy on craigslist and got the complete without doing any work.

He doesn't have a radio with dual ESC mixing capabilities therefore he has to run the fxr's on the 'Novak Dig' so he can run it on a 3ch radio as a 4ch radio is not cheap.
