Default how to buy SCX10 shocks?

I know you can buy AX30090 to get a pair of aluminum body shocks.

But I haven't found a part number to get a complete pair of plastic body shocks.

Do you have to buy them in pieces?

I search it on eBay. I have 2 sets coming from people who buy rtr and part them out. Like 17$ with shipping I think. It's my first time trying them. I've been a BB guy but all the dudes in my club use them.

Yeah, that would work. I just don't like buying parts without a part number because I never know what I'll get. I'm not a scale guy, so don't know if Honcho shocks are the same thing, etc.

But I decided to just buy aluminum shocks. I can always lighten them up later with Egressor bodies.

That's a good point. I don't have a scaler either. Mine didn't show up yet. I hope they are right. When they get here, I'll post up any info that is included.

Good choice David, lol..

All the scx, honcho, dingo shocks are the same. With either plastic or aluminum shock bodies. Great shocks!

Order some associated green slime and a extra set of O-rings while ur at it.
Take the shocks apart at the o-rings and pull the little spacer out from between the 2 o-rings. Slime up 3 o-rings and put back together. Repeat for the other 3 shocks.. less leaky leaky...

Scx shocks are all the same the only variation is fake resi vs no resi on the top cap.

Seems like I've heard of a few other things, which I'll eventually check out. Bleed holes under the cap. Bladders from 1/16 Revo (anyone have part no?). X-rings. Jeepndoug spring cups for mini-T and MRC springs and threaded delrin upper spring seat from CreationFAb. Not to mention Egressor bodies.

These shocks are going to have more aftermarket parts than the rest of my car.
