So, did they rip-off vanquish's hubs or Dlux's one piece design?

Is it just me or are the tire lugs too far apart and a hair too big?

A bit disappointing. Jeep grille on a wraith with different tires. Hopefully they release the tires in the r35 compound.

| Re: New Axial Poison Spyder Wraith AX90031 Wow I took one look at the new tires and said to my self, Those look really familar to me and then it hit me the old rock crushers Not trying to pick on the tires or anything and I know there a different compound but very, very simalar lol Actually there a little more spaced apart and not so tall lugs, Might be a great tire. With Axial being owned by a large corporation, this has been the direction I was expecting. All of the big name R/C companies do the same thing, make a few changes slap a new paint scheme on it... BAM new vehicle. |

Same ole axial, they have been doing the body changes on the same old frame for years, nothing new.

None of you seem to realize who this new rig is geared towards. This is not geared toward us who are already into this hobby it's to attract new users into the hobby. The person who hasn't gotten crawler yet might look at that sweet looking jeep body and say now is the time to try this hobby and that's what this packages gear towards. Do you guys realize how much retooling would cost just to add the little things you're looking for when in reality all they wanted to do was to help bring new people into the hobby. |

its a fine truck and hopefully it will do a good job selling. however, if they had re-tooled the cage, bumpers, fwd battery mount, centered rear diff, things like that, you would not only still be appealing to the newbie market but also be selling the new updated 2.0 wraith to all of us who already own one. had this rig had those changes i would have one preordered already. i think alot of us would... | |

I think they did a great job on it it looks great and it will hopefully bring alot more people into the hobby. They definitely could have made some major improvements however when you consider nobody that stays in the hobby for long leaves things box stock and as much as i would love the for some things like a reworked cage the cost involved for designing and retooling to produce new parts would not be worth it when what they currently produce work well and still sell. just my opinion

has anyone noticed that axial has already flipped the lower link/shock mounts in the pictures? and the springs and inner shafts on the shocks look to be different also so maybe they've changed the shocks internals? they at least have listened to us about them lower link mounts. i also found on axials website a sales sheet for this and it has the body listed for $50 but i'm sure thats cause all them logos they need licensing for, the tires were listed for $35 for 2, the beadlocks are listed for $20 for 2, and then the hub adapters for the beadlocks are listed for $5 so maybe they're not included with the beadlocks? I think axial might have done a little more R&D than were giving them credit for? but if the body is really listed for $50 then I'm sure people will go to pro-line or DC for the rudy body, unless you want to pay an extra $15 for licensed decals i guess. do wish they would have done a few other noticeable things, like the rear half of the cage or battery forward tray and separate hood. even a rear centered diff would be awesome. theyre leaving us wanting more for sure thou. guess well see once its officially release in a week or 2.
