That makes sense. And with an upright shock you really shouldn't need to sweat getting all the air out from under the bladder. It will relieve pressure like you said whether or not there is additional air in the system. On the subject of leaking shocks would it help to seal the two threaded ends? I was thinking of using teflon tape or something. But if all the leaking takes place at the shaft o-rings, no help there. I think I've seen teflon tape briefly mentioned but no real info. |

I have SCX10 shocks on my XR10. I have the aluminum shock body and machined pistons. If it sits for a while over night the shocks stick. What I mean is when I push down on it kind pops. It doesn't move until I push down on it. After I push down on it It moves smooth. I assembled it with green slim. I have the two rubber orings touching the the spacer so they don't leak. Would installing bladders help this? Should i drill a hole in the top of the shock tops with bladders? Thanks Matt |
