Default M4 size bent link ends

I am running VP 1/4" TI Straight links with XR10 stock bent link ends on my sporty for the lowers currently.

Anyone know of m4 bent link ends other than these?

Aluminum Black M4 Bend Rod End (1)

Any feedback on how durable these are?
I have heard they don't last long.

Has anyone had any luck bending the Traxxas #TRA5525 Jato ends?

I want to keep my straight links so are these my options?
1-XR10 stock ends
2-RC4WD Aluminums
3- Custom bent Jato ends.

Suggestions would be appreciated.

You're not going to bend a jato and retain the strength. They need to be fully threaded to not break.

The skinny skid plate on my AR60 Sporty make the angles a bit more than straights can handle.

You could make new links a little longer and then bend them.

don't even need to make new longer ones, just bend them and if you need a little length back you can just put a longer rod end on them

Losi 17* rod ends LOSA6011 are the same size as revo ends so they can be drilled out to accept 4mm hardware.

I like the straight ones, I had VP Wraith 1/4" bent lowers and these perform better for me.

HMMMMMMMMM.
Any experience with these?
The XR10s are working but they tend to pop off the ball I are a bit more flexy than I feel will hold up.
Losis don't look any stronger than the XR10's, I will have to get some & see.

I broke my first Losi bent rod end after a few years of use. They held up pretty good I'd say. Others might have had more problems with them than I, but they're worth a shot I suppose. They are not metric, they have a standard thread, and the ball hole is a standard size also. Not sure if other balls will fit in the rod end.

Thanks, that was my thoughts. I had to put REVO ends on my LCC shocks because of the losi balls on the end having too small a hole for the m3 & the ball is bigger than the REVO balls.

He He I said REVO balls

Yep, I've used the Losi bent rod ends with good success. Plenty of beef around them to drill out as well.

Jatos dont even hold up in their stock form.....

They are not plastic, they are black metal.

Hehe, black metal:

As for the rod ends, I usually run these:
1/4" Diameter Delrin® Pivot Balls

RPM also sells some other delrin balls for Losi stuff, but I cant find them right now. These are plastic, but they are strong. I've never had an issue. Only thing is they are meant for 4-40 so if you want to use 3mm, you'll need to drill them out.

Thanks jeremyh!
Now will you watch my video & tell me if you can tell from it how top heavy I am or how to test my truck to know.

Is this too much articulation?

I answered.

The best way to check stuff like that is to drive your truck up an incline (that is reproducible so you can check it after changes). Driving it up a wall will work as well. See how far you get up the incline (or how close your rear tires get to the wall). The lower your COG, the lower the sprung weight, the further up the board or closer to the wall the truck will get before it unloads and tips backward.
