it says they widen each side 15mm. the red Junfac ones I have above widen it 13mm. so unfortunately those are going the wrong direction/too wide. |

| Re: thick hex's? or wideners? I assumed the 5/8" you mentioned in the first post was how much they widen it. I guess that must be a overall length measurement. How much do you want it to actually widen the truck?

well the 13mm is too much. so probly 8-10mm? the grey slash hexs are not enough. |

| Re: thick hex's? or wideners? RCP*X*MIP*CVD*Part*-... The only downside to these is that the hole is for a 5mm shaft (like TLT CVDs or Axial Super 300s). You can make some kind of shim to take up the slop but they work ok as is. They just fall off everytime you remove the wheel. I have used them for years on Pepe. |

| Re: thick hex's? or wideners? I thought he was saying he wanted something between the traxxas hexes (which I believe are 6mm) and the junfac. Perhaps I misunderstood....

correct, i need ones that are thicker/more offset than the traxxas grey hexes, and shorter/less offset than the junfac red wideners.

| Re: thick hex's? or wideners? If you go to my site ottsix.com and look under "hopups" you'll see 5mm thick hex sets. I can special order up to 7mm for you at no extra charge. These are really high quality, too.

They'll never get stuck in your hubs, they lock tighter than any other hex I've used, they are machined and anodized aluminum not coated or painted, the pins are chromoly and they sit properly against bearings...I hope that answers your question.

thanks crawl o matic, but those unfortunatly are not thick enough for my needs. i just got out my calipers. it looks like what i need is ~10-12mm in measured thickness is what im looking for. the junfacs measure close to 16mm |
