Default Shock upgrades for my Tamiya TA02 build....

I`m actually not sure where to start with my search. Im trying to find a good shock upgrade for my Tamiya TA02/01 with the wider Blazing Star susp. arm conversion. I like the stock shocks, but i would like a more modern shock that has better tuneability and also that are roughly 3 inches long eye to eye. Plus im doing this so i dont have to wait to order springs and such from Ebay or whatever, when i could just go to the hobby shop locally and grab the parts i need without much down time. Im using this rig as a long arm light rock crawling/trail riding type of driving with 2.2 axial stock wheels and tires. Ive tried 1/10 scale summit shocks, but they are just way to big and the 1/16 scale summit shocks are far too small, so does anyone have any suggestions?
