Why thank ya kindly.
The truck itself I wasn't too worried about. That thing I think is going to be fun to run around with.
My main concern was with being as austere and taciturn as I usually am, I wondered if I had what it takes to make a decent thread. I just saw an opening screen like THIS one, and thought, "Holy Roadapples! I'm going up against threads like this?!?!?" I still got some stuff to get out there, I haven't tipped my hat completely yet, but that'll come in due time. Right now just tryin' to relax and take you guys along on a journey.

As far as a vid of some wild west style mud-slingin', that may have to wait 'til spring. We have snow forecasted for later on today, and I still have a patio full of furniture that needs to be moved up under the eaves. Plus, I'm guessing the truck is 6-8 weeks from done.
If the thing's got any speed to it at all, perhaps I'll drag out 'the Black Ramp of Death!', and do some jumps into the snowbanks.

Have a great week, Peeps! See ya around.

This is my entry. All of the parts so far are from rcc and a local forum. It will be a simple build not as flash and fancy as some others. Thanks for the chance to win. Hopefully this link works as I'm on my iPad.

When you say RCC vendors, what if the bulk of your parts have been bought used in the classifieds? Does that count?

A shot at $500 sounds good. Parts for my build will start rolling in this week. Thanks for a chance.

Alright, Here are my build threads. I am still working on the "Terra Wraith" and I am in the tuning phase of the "Crest-Crawler"

Thank you for the opportunity to showcase my Newbie skills and thank you for making me feel welcome on RCC.

Terra Wraith
"RCC inspired Terra Wraith"

Crest-Crawler - not sure if this will count since I started it a few months back. Either way, I'm excited about the build and blown away with how it performs and I wanted to share with the crowd!

JUNKFOOT! is now alive. Moved under his own power tonight (well, this morning. whatever).
Still got a couple of challenges to throw down, but it's coming along better'n I woulda thought.
I'll get some more pics and info up sometime this week.

Kudos to you guys for having some pretty sharp builds going, too.

My build won't be anywhere close to as cool as what some of these are, but here's mine, everything but the BEC so far has come from RPP, here at RCC, the local hardware store, or I had it laying around.

My 3rd build is being posted here. Definately not going to be a crawler. And if parts let go, there will be BIG carnage...

Wow, that's some awesome stuff! Thanks to EY Designs and Wicked Wolf for chipping in.

In other news, JUNKFOOT's officially a runner. Had a less than spectacular outing up on Rib Mountain. Falling a bit behind schedule on the paint, too.
Not much in the way of good news, I know, but tomorrow's another day, and it has the potential to be great. Be sure and make the best of yours.
