So, as most good ideas come to us, I was sitting on my "Thinking Chair" one morning, and thought this up. Its still in proto/tease you mode, so bare with me.

As some of you know, I offer the widest selection of adapter tubes and pre-fabbed housings for various Axial Axles:

For those wondering, these tubes are to widen the AX/SCX10 axle housing to utilize XR10 universal shafts. This gives you a 24mm wider stance, more steering, and strength

This new version is even better, and stronger than ever

I would like to show off the NEW CreationFab ULTRA Wide Splined Tube. They are a hybrid of Aluminum and Delrin. The final product will be machined of 2024 aluminum(slightly stronger than 6061) and will have the main caster setting holes drilled/tapped. I am working on a jig to accurately drill the top 4 holes out also. The Delrin will be adhered to the aluminum to ensure they dont separate.

Also, I am planning on offering this version in the wide non-splined and super versions aswell

wow....time to upgrade the tube again

by the way,
would u like to pre-drill some holes on that tubes? that would be easier for some people who don't have bench drill machine at home

I was just looking at buying a set of tubes for this exact application last night.
If you're looking for a test of strength, we need to talk. Can you say monster truck tires on SCX10 axles.

Thanks for the replys guys. I have material on order for a small batch to be used as "test the waters" to see how they come together. Once I make those and get the process down, production will be in full swing
