Im agreeing with harley... wouldnt surprise me to see a losi mini rock crawler based scale type truck. Nothing extremly scale tthough. Prob have some sort of ridgecrest/mini suv body.

I'd like to see more realism in the crawler line up, I hope its a 1.9 wraith style rig not the mrc or ridge crest line, but that's just me

Probably so. I see a TON of the MRC in that teaser picture. Just the way the shocks are mounted up and how the axle is.

It's not like Losi hasn't pulled this stunt before...

It looks like it has stainless links and the tsl's give me hope it'll be decent.

I have not had that problem with mine, and mine has a lot of hours/abuse/motor/pinion spur gear changes, etc.

I'm really happy with my Twin Hammers, it has been nothing but fun and all I have done is beat the piss out of it!

Nice tease Vaterra!

I ran my TH I picked up used once and pretty much destroyed it with a cheap tazer 3300 on 3s with unweighted 1.9" trapadors. The steering was crap so I replaced it with a traxxas rack. The screws holding the chassis together were a biotch since they kept stripping out with a sharp allen driver so I swapped all I pulled out with new axial beadlock screws since they didn't strip so easily.

I didn't make it though the first 1300 mah battery before losing a front axle so I pulled the electronics and put it up for sale. The guy I traded it too said the input shaft was bent and the trans gears were toast too. I guess I am hard on stuff.

If that new rig is a scale type rig that's cool, I'm in the market for something to be pretty true to scale axle wise and I refuse to use tamiya junk.

I haven't had many durability issues with my TH, just a spur gear which I was expecting with the power system I was running.

However the TH just didn't do it for me, but I think that was mainly a size issue. I just prefer the size of a 2.2 rig most of the time unless I am going for a total scale rig. For a basher, the 1.9 just didn't grab me. Other than that, pretty decent product for the money.

The more I look at that little teaser pic (after quite a bit of lightening in PS) I am just waiting to see it released with MRC axles. I hope hope hope I'm wrong though.

Assuming that is the rear of it. It looks like rear steer. Looks like a moon buggy style chassis to me, in a MRC sized package. Also looks like glue on wheels, if you look at the lower right of the tire around the bead, it looks like glue residue. I might be reading too much into it.

The tires look good. Would really like to see a rig to run in the 1.9 class. Really miss my MRC pro...

I was thinking the same thing. Possible W.E. Rock comp buggy. Would be cool.

I am just glad there is another manufacture attempting scale. With the new releases axial is putting out, there isn't much to be desired lately. That said, most of us have custom builds using the proven axial drivetrain components, so in no way am I blasting axial. I love my 2.2 axial-based buggy.

I never had the reliability uses others have had with my old Twin Hammers. I thought it was a good start, with growing hop-up support. Vaterra is trying...

Looking forward to this release.

I was hoping they would have kept the twh rear axle setup
and built a front to match it..

That pic on Instagram shows a light bar and the roof line is to high and boxy to be a moonbuggy. With the light bar, and minimal chassis I've seen, Im thinking more XRRA style than KOH. Come on, Thursday.

Yes, and comp buggies don't normally have lights. Who knows... we will see tomorrow.
