Default Axial AX10 Deadbolt

Axial Racing - AX10

I've seen some members ask when the new 2.2 Trepadors we're coming out. Well they're out now and Axial decided to make a "new" RC for them. It's a Ridgecrest with different tires and body if anyone can't figure out what's different

I do like the new body and color a lot though. It will be a good choice for the new hobbyists if they want to stick to the AX10 platform. It's better than Traxxas using the same body and then make different color schemes. At least Axial is making the platform unique and not boring.

Axial definitely needs to get into the Twin Hammers scene....

If they are gonna visit the past I would rather them resume making the original ax10, not another take on the ridgecrest. Oh well

This same product development/marketing style has been used by traxxas with great success, i dont see any issues with it. I personally dont want to see a 100% new rig every 6 months, all that does is make current stuff worthless in short order, and it may not be any better. For instance Ive got OG ax10 parts in one of my trucks and they still work just fine and i can get parts whenever i need them. JMO
