I reckon Axial need to stop liscensing so much of their stuff. All it means is we end up paying extra for a few words which most of us don't really care about. Seriously, I wouldn't care if the Walker Evans rims were replaced with non-liscensed rims. Sure it's a nice touch but really, they're not even real beadlocks, they're 'FAKE.' I also don't care if the flares aren't liscensed. Anyways, you get the point, Axial are over doing it a bit. Even though I love this new rig, I think they need to stop all this Jeep stuff. All we get is Jeep, Jeep, Jeep and more Jeep. But, Axial's gone and spent mega-dollars on getting their JK body liscensed and are getting all that cash back that they put into the liscensing by making as many Jeep products as wanted in the amount of time they have before 'the contract sort of thingy' ends. If they're going to insist on Jeep they might as well give us something a bit different apart from all JK. Do a Wagoneer or a CJ7, even as little as a YJ or WJ. That's just my 2 cents worth! Looking on the bright side, the G6 kit is cheaper than the normal JK kit but is still a lot of money. If I've done my calculations correctly, Tower Hobbies' Ultimate Combo would be $515 USD (only from memory so don't quote me on this). Hopefully Axial will do something like what they did with the EXO, sell a kit only and then later make an RTR. I really like this new rig and I hope Axial soon make it into a RTR and would very much like one, but when I consider that I can get and RC4WD trail truck (RTR) for the same price, I don't think I'll be owning one any time soon. |

| Re: Axial SCX10 Jeep Wrangler G6 1/10th Scale Electric 4WD - Kit X2 on the Scout idea. And a scale driver for the interior like the Deadbolt. Did some more maths and Axial are selling the RTR version on the JK for $50 more than the kit. If they make and RTR version of the G6 and sell it as an RTR I figure it'd be $5 CHEAPER than the Honcho! They'll probably find an excuse to make it more expensive than the Honcho though and it'll probably have to do with liscensing. And if they do sell it cheaper than the Honcho that'll just give us a good reason to ask them for a price drop! |

questions... first - what is different on this kit from the Rubicon Jeep? Wondering why it is so much cheaper. second - in the official video, which is dope, they have 5 LEDs in the over the roof bar, two in the headlight buckets, and two in the bumper. Then they are using the red's normally for the rear in like where the front turn signals would be. to the question...i count 9 white lights. the axial LED kit comes with only 4. so how'd they get 9? Must not be using the axial LED kit is my guess. |

i get that it doesn't come with LEDs. I'm not sure its the NVS system either. unless you can disable certain functions. There are no brake lights, looks like they used them as turn signal lights in the front. and they don't blink when the wheel is turned. as i said they may be able to turn certain functions off on the light kit. my bigger question was about the differences between the kits |

from what i understand, from talking with some people are in the know, the "G6 Kit" will be ALL ally upgrade parts. Shocks to metal gear transmission. a bit shorter wheel base too. A sweet body change in my opinion and LOTS of plces to hold lights! sisterfunk | |

AR60's are too wide. Just add some wider beef tubes and xr shafts and be good.

What are you talking about low price? $299 @ Tower... and it doesn't mention anything about everything being all alloy. It specifically says aluminum lower links and the pictures clearly show plastic uppers. TowerHobbies.com | Axial SCX10 Jeep Wrangler Recon G6 EP 4WD Kit |
