Default Idea Transformer?

A friend if mine has asked me to help him identify a crawler he got as a payment recently. It says Transformer on it and it seems to be from Idea RC. Has anyone ever heard of these folks? It looks to be brand new. Thanks.

+1.

I even took a stab at "ideal rc", no dice as a manufacturer.

Not like the YouTube video. The crawler has four link suspension front and rear with internally sprung shocks. The steering arms are bolt-ons made of 1/8" thick Lexan. There are also a couple of chassis parts made of 1/8" Lexan as well. The four link system and the axle housings are made from a mix of what seems to be cast and machined aluminum.
Is there a way to post pics directly to this site, or do I have to post them elsewhere and then link to it from here?

Wow. That looks odd. Are those lower links supposed to be bent to that extreme?

The lower links are bent at about a 60 degree angle, about 1 1/2" before they bolt to the side plates.
There are heim joints at the end of each link, so the range of movement for all four corners is pretty extreme. The lower shock mounts are clamps that are adjustable.
The steering arms are 1/8" thick Lexan and it's currently set up for 2-wheel steering, but removing the current lexan block from the rear knuckle and replacing it with a steering arm looks like it would make it 4-wheel steer. There are mounts on both ends for steering servos.

Well, that's the top, the bottom, and the rear. Any other requests?
Any ideas would be welcome.

TO add images to your posts, first upload them to a hosting site.
Once they are there right click and copy the image location.
Then on the posting page click this button and paste the image location in the pop up window.

This thing looks really weird and if one of these has been seen before RCC is the place to have seen it. I am going to go out on a limb here and say it looks like some kind of prototype.

How long is it from axle stub to axle stub?
How wide is it from hub to hub?

The wheelbase is about 17". The width from the outside of one hex to the outside of the other is about 11 1/4".
Is there a standard size hex for crawler wheels? These look like 12mm. I'm used to 12mm for touring, 14m for F1, and 17mm for 1/8th.

12mm is the norm.

I think this is someone's project from some engineering class or something it looks like things I have seen come out of O.I.T.

OK, now that I've polled the brain trust of RC Crawling, what do you think it might be worth? What you see in the pics is all I have.
