Your axle skid plates look just like the ones I made for my solid axle maxx crawler! I even use 1/4 scale servos!

Lets see some pics with the body off

Wow you guys are pretty harsh. I tried to post up some pics of the frame and some body off pics but the link I had is not working right now. However for all of you who think it is not "scratch built " enough how many of you just bolted on a set of axles to your crawler maybe shaved them a bit and call it good. (Gotta get back at you guys afterall) I will hopefully have some pics of the chassis posted up soon. Oh and by the way its 3/16 tube stock for all the underpinnings

The dictionary in my head tells me "scratch", when refering to building vehicles, would mean "built completly by hand or machine without using any pre-built parts"

"Jimmy bought his crawler from the local hobby shop, but Joey built his from scratch using aluminum and steel"

Now, your rig looks impressive, but you obviously diddnt build that all by hand, which you imply by calling it scratch built.

Sure most of us throw on some axles on our rigs, but we dont claim to have "scratch built" rigs
