**AX10/SCX10 Housing Splined Burly Tubes**

http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m...r.jpg~original

I've made it my personal mission to bring the RCC community a bolt in splined beef tube option for all our comp and scaler needs. Below is something I have been working on.

http://rcbros.com/wp-content/uploads...1/IMG_9876.jpg

No axle is complete without our Burly splined tube set. Our Burly tubes have several benefits that you just simply can’t be without.

The plastic housings are not known to be the strongest on the market, add a good steering servo and a little bit of time, you’ll quickly find yourself snapping housings left and right. No longer will this be an issue, no mods needed our tubes are 7075 and slide in between the case halves making them the strongest and only no mod needed tube on the market.

Our tubes extend your stock axle to accommodate stock XR10 Axial Universals which are known for up to 70* of steering when modded. Splined for easy C-hub clocking our tubes are meant for Vanquish splined C Hubs. (Other brands can be used, but fitment may vary)

Each tube features a alignment dimple allowing you to lock in your tubes for perfectly indexed spline alignment ensuring your alignment is spot on. A locking collar slides over the burly tube with a tight fit on your axle housing. Two set screws hold this piece in place with 1 set screw locking into the alignment dimple.

This collar comes black anodized to achieve that one piece look. Those wanting to get there first sets ASAP have the option to order without anodizing.

For pricing and ordering please check out our website or our thread in the vendor section. We appreciate everyone's help and support on this product and can't wait to supply you with the Burliest tube you can get! "thumbsup"

wow, these look great! i'd guess many people will like that these don't require a bunch of sanding to the housing's bearing flange for installation.

what do these tubes put the axle width at WMS to WMS? (or axle pin to axle pin since hex size varies)

Any chance of getting a set anodized something other than black?

That's a great product for the individual's unable or don't have the access to modify their housings for the other tube options.

Puts your wheelbase the same as a stock XR10, don't have the number handy at the moment but will edit this once I do.

Will the stock Wraith/ Ridgecrest C's fit? I know they aren't ideal but I still have some laying around.

Orange.

Might be worth looking into all the vp colours.

Yes, these will work. Fitment may be slightly or slightly loose as all C hubs seem to vary.

There orange is alittle hard to match, so first run will be red and blue and only a small quantity.

These are next, just trying to come up with a better way and trying to find more time in the day to accomplish it. RcBros is a side job so its overwhelming at times. "thumbsup"

Check "Lattice Works" (IIRC), I believe the contact is BC-Brian (up near Boston), he does anodizing in lots of colors.8)

Tossed these on super quick before the comp yesterday. The nice part about 7075 is its easy to drill with a hand drill and no special tools. I drilled, tapped and installed the tube start to finish in about 25 minutes. As soon as I get some axle halves in the mail, I will begin a how-to for all of you. It is recommended to drill and tap the collar on due to the plastic housing threads being so soft.

Thanks Charlie,

I can anodize them for you no problem. If they are already black I can strip them. Shoot me a pm if you are interested.

I have black, red and blue coming. However, BC-Brian can do all sorts of custom killer colors too!

Sweet Tubes!!"thumbsup"

.... and no need to have to chop your axles off to make them fit like others I have recently seen. Was pondering a set, but had no interest in cutting the end of my axle off... no worry of having to do that with these.

Looking Good!!!"thumbsup"

Just reviewed the instructions and noticed your tubes are also indexed!
Quality stuff!! Little details like that make BiG differences in longevity
