Default The Pasture Path

So after getting back into crawling, we decided to get out in the rain and do some course building and modifying. We still have some new courses to add and a bridge to finish building. It is on the backside of a pond dam. Luckily it is mostly rock so we have several different lines that can be added. I will update pics as we are able to build. Let me know what modifications or other opinions you have.

Nice pics, Looks like its time to start upgrading and accumulating more items for the course, I think I measured it out today, over 80+ feet of crawling lines!

Its been alot of fun getting back into the RC crawlers, we took a break for the last year and have been flying planes but with the colder, shorter days, the crawlers have seen use again, there are three of us brothers and when we arent racing RZRs were are competing on the kitchen tables trying to out build the other two, we will keep more pics coming as this course takes shape, bringing out the welder tommorow, I feel a good metal bridge is needed as well, keep the comments coming as we are always looking for ideas!

Idk which part is more fun. The crawling or the building of the course and truck. It took us about 2 hours yesterday to get it almost complete. Still a few more lines to be made and some rocks to be added to finish some lines.

With a clear day the rock tossing has been replaced with welding and the new bridge has been started.

The bridge looks great. I've never thought about using rebar. Might have to use that idea.

I haven't had a chance to crawl on the new bridge but according to my brothers it acts similar to a rope bridge since it only has on center point.

Had some free time at work and was bored. Here are some maps so that the pics make more sense.

a suggestion...

don't bunch up the rocks..
leave some holes here and there for the wheels to fall in
it will make it look more natural instead of man made
and give you more rocks to use overall.

you have a nice spot to wheel..
