looking for the thread with ideas of hanging rigs on the wall??

so i did a search but couldnt find it.. i remember a while ago i was reading a thread with some ideas of how to hang your rigs on the wall but i cant find it..

i finally got a small shop of my own and have 6 rigs and want to organize it a bit and want to hang a slash 2wd, 1/16 grave digger, twin hammers, hpi savage, scx10 and ax10 all by the axles, not the tires..

I used peg board - the real thick stuff, about 10 bucks for a large sheet maybe 4ftx4ft and some of the standoffs from home depo/lowes. Two of the bigger ones worked just fine to hold my 1/8 buggy and another set for my crawler. Also have most of my tools hanging up, along with parts etc.

Probably the better way to go and far more versatile.

i have mine on rubbermaid fasttrack rails & hooks from home depot. they look good, and have tons of different hooks and holders that are modular (easily snap in, snap out).

i hang my rigs with a free metal coat hanger. The ones I have came with all these table linens from party rental place and figured i'd use them instead of toss them since they're the kind with the cardboard tube in the center and not really useful for stuff like roasting marshmallows. Simply rip off the cardboard tube, then bend the ends of the hanger into hooks to grab axle. hanger simply hangs on a screw placed wherever you want. Might not look fancy, but these are actually quite strong - I've got one of these hangers holding up 2 fully loaded golf bags w/o any issues from my rafters. I thought the hooks might bend under this kind of weight, but still holding shape after several on/off's.

my shop has plywood on the walls so im not scared to put some screws or something in it.. thanks for the replies guys..

i have seen those kling on rig hangers before but i have an unexpected week off of work so money is gonna be tight but i will think of something simple and cheap
