I would like some information on how you modified the servo. Don't know MKS servo, do they have a metal case ? Did you have to make new holes and tap them for bigger screws in the gear cover ?

Besides MKS servo are not easy to be found... did you buy it online somewhere ?

Thanks
Filippo
I renew my question here. That MKS servo seems to be discontinued
Are there other affordable and widespread servos with a metal case ? Besides I'm afraid about the shorter screws I would need: they should be M3 but I doubt any servos as so large screws...

Thanks
Filippo

I have been running that savox 1283 for a year on my AR60 rig.
I am very happy with it.
It is a 6 volt max rating tho so no 2s lipo straight in. (I have been running mine with a 2s LiFe at about 6.5 V fully charged & it has not smoked or got hot yet?)

Yup, Ive been running one in my Wrexo for over a year, pushing the bell crank steering heavy and tall tires in the rocks and every other terrain. I carry a 7950 for a spare but have yet to need it..
