Default newb: jeep troubles = whining sound

hey, im having some troubles with my nylint, each time i try to climb something all it does is whine. no wheels move and it takes like 5 tryed just to get over a little rock? usually it just climbs right over but something is wrong. anyone else have this problem or a fix?

sounds like your belts are slipping, pull the axles apart and clean the belts....i usually use rubbing alcohol on a q-tip if i am just doing a quick cleanup....

you can also take some sandpaper and sand the small pulley to take the smooth finish off of it so the belt wont slip as bad....

some people run smaller belts, in my experience, all that does is causes broken parts...

i've only messed up one set of gears with tighter belts, and that was from grass getting wrapped around the tire and me just pushing it on. and like someone else here said, coke on the belt works good too.
