Our good friend, fellow RcCrawler vendor and website guru became a new daddy earlier this year, although Penelope AKA Sweet Pea was born with some complications, we are more then happy to report she is now home and doing well.




During her stay in the hospital the RCC Members have all stepped up to help raise some money to help Brian and his family take care of a small fraction of the upcoming doctor bills. I am happy to report we have raised:

I was driving home the other night and the radio was bragging about how there sponsors including brands such as Century Link, Comcast and a bunch of others raise $1800 for a local charity hospital. Although that was killer, I couldn't help but giggle knowing we here at RCC; a "small" toy car community raised more Big big thumbs up to everyone here!

While the reason for this fund raiser is sorta sad (being a parent myself), the support from vendors and the community is great.

Now here is a funny story of how karma and fate work.

As it would happen I purchased the tickets and had them sent to a buddy in the states to hold onto and forward them with some other stuff. His forum name is Crank aka Charlie. He forwarded the stuff to me no problem.

Now for those paying attention to the fund raising efforts on RCC also know that Calderwood made a set of one off carbon fibre wheels to auction off for Penelope. Well as it turns out Crank was high bidder and won the wheels, of which he had no use for. He forwarded them on to me, I couldn't believe it but he did.

As luck would have it I have no use for the axles at this time but I know someone who is building up a nice wraith, yup you guessed it Crank. So Crank will be getting these axles for his wraith. Thanks man happy as hell to return the favour, you deserve them for hitting winning bid on a set of wheels you did not even have a use for, real class act.

Isn't it funny how good deeds turn around and come full circle.
