| RedCAT Sumo Micro Crawler motor
Just got on of these and while I plan on doing most of the mods I've read about it seems that other than lipos nobody has found a good way to get more speed out of these. I'm curious on 2 things. First if the motor is a 130 size has anybody tried and Xmod motor and Second has anybody tried to mount the motor directly and skip the gear reduction? Thanks for looking everybody. |

Hi Chvman, i have a few of the redcat micros, there is a few options, i am using a servo motor and its faster then stock and a ton more torque, it all depends on what you want to do scale, crawl, big miclaw tires? look on youtube for Gamyrc, he has done a ton of playing with the motors, good luck, and you might try asking in the micro sections, they might give you other ideas |
