I have one...awesome for the money! The drive shafts were the weak link, they tell me that they've upgraded them since I bought mine.

The total flex is just right for a scaler IMO. It has the same electronics and motor that I've been using for the past couple of years in my comp crawlers...no complaints here! The radio is really slick for the money. overall, I give it 4.5 stars out of 5...I don't think this rig is beatable at this price point, no way, no how | |

I have one. I am getting 3 inch of articulation out of mine. I also made a radio tray for mine and bolted it between the two front shock towers. To get the articulation I am seeing as others have said take your springs out of your shocks. But wait do not stop there. While you have your shocks off, take the end off on the shaft and remove one of the o-rings, after you remove this end, remove the cap on the shaft side and there are two o-rings. These o-rings are causing some friction on the shaft. its enough to cause the suspension to be, not silk smooth, as I say. Now remove the two smaller leave springs on all corners. On the front put the medium spring back on and use your two small angle blocks and put two together to make a block. You want each block under both front springs. On the rear take the smaller leave spring and use those under these springs. Also take the biggest angles blocks and use those to straighten the drive shaft angle. I also took the tranny and raised it so I have a clean smooth bottom. They have the holes aready drilled and tapped. I then took some Forum-A-Gasket and filled each hole so has no water can enter if I do ever put this under water. Just how I did mine, thought you would like to know. Tony |

It came with the plastic punisher shafts. They are a weak link, but for the price of the truck its ok. I installed Jato shafts. I have not had any problems but plan on the heavy duty metal punisher shafts. Tony |

| Re: Rc4wd trail stomper Top picture is when I just got my T.S. together. Second picture is after I shortened the wheelbase and put a Newbrite body on it. Third picture is the newbrte t.s. with some of the rest of our scalers. I'm very happy with it still in pretty much stock form, no upgrades yet. Great deal for the money. I also pulled the shock springs out and snipped the o-rings out of them. Pulled all the leafs out of the springs except the main, it flexes o.k. |
