Default Possibly a sneak peek at Axial's new kit..

I was looking on my Instagram and saw that Axial posted up a picture of Jake Hallenbeck's KOH Bomber buggy.

The rumor is that Axial is releasing a kit that is going to be like the Twin Hammers. King of the Hammers inspired. Being that the Wraith's design came from Jake as well, this could be what to expect. I'm getting kinda getty!!

Also, Axial came out with the 2.2 Trepadors, so this seems to have a connection with it too other than demand.

A Bomber Fab car would be at the top of my list for sure. However I would rather see that replace the current Wraith cage and stay solid axle, just like every Bomber car so far.

When the IFS version comes out, I'd love to see some Penhall style in it. Seems like it would fit right in with Brandon's style from the Exo

We can only hope it's an all new chassis.

I completely agree with you, Harley.

If they produced a kit that had a KOH/Ultra4 style cage while still staying solid axle, I think they would sell more units than Wraith kits. Possibly narrow up the axles from the Wraith a little bit too.

Either way that Axial goes, I'm sure they will make a killing with the next kit.

Do you think that Axial will come out with another IFS kit to replace the Exo?

I don't think the Wraith axles should be narrowed at all. The width is not unscale for true hardcore KOH style buggies. A Wraith is pretty close to 1/8 scale I would say which puts the hex to hex in the correct range.

I do think that there will be a solid axle/IFS car in the future. Just don't know when we'll see it.

I know I see Axial stickers all over lots of the full size KOH cars. But when catching up on Pirate today I found it odd that the only sticker on this whole car was an Axial sticker. #tinfoilhat

The Starfighter is by no means my favorite IFS car, honestly it's one of my least favorite. But I think the style would appeal to a lot of other people and I am sure it could grow on me too... I just think the nose looks too long, the ass too short, and the flames rolled into the panels are cheesy.

I agree with you Harley. If Axial were to take any design cues from a full size rig, I hope it would be a more full bodied Solid Rear/IFS frame.

That's not what I'm getting at. I would not want a full bodied car at all, I would want a full buggy/KOH style. I would just like to see one that looked more like Ben Napiers or the Triple Nickle team.

I definitely want to see a KOH style car but I want it to be a 1.9 rig instead of Wraith based. A Penhall looking car would be SICK.

Just talked to a buddy that is at KOH. Ugly rumor there is that it will be a Bomber Fab type cage on top of the Exo chassis. Four wheel IFS. I hope like hell that is not correct.
