Might be for fraud protection. We do that at our work for out of country orders or ones that look suspicious.

Sounds like a scam to me - how were you paying for it? For anyone to ask you to send something that is along those lines, walk away and buy elsewhere - there are tons of other better places to buy from that don't ask you for things that helps them or someone else steal your identity.

Id steer clear. That sounds like a scam to me. I just ordered from them and didnt have any issues other than, they sold me stuff that was out of stock. But refunded me quickly. But your deal dont sound good.
