I don't want the same truck as everyone else, inside or out. I really like Axial trucks but I don't like paying for licensed stuff I don't want.
You say Jeep is what sells and you're right but it's not like we have much of a choice. Last truck I bought was a Dingo because it was the cheapest. Threw away the wheels/tires and body.

Oh yeah, you can keep your ready to run junk too.
That's a shame. I'm looking for a dingo body

It'll be interesting to see some more reports about how the ascender performs especially with the axles narrowed to 180mm. Just about everything the OP wanted other than the motor in the front, but the possibility of the 2 speed transmission somewhat makes up for that even though you won't be able to have a full floor pan for an interior. I can't wait to see someone do an ascender build with the D90 shell/interior.

Should be a no-brainer to keep track of "lost profits" for axial, just get a sold unit count for the ascender at the end of the year and all that profit (more importantly enthusiasm for your brand) could have been yours! Vaterra saw a chance, a gap, a demand for something. They rolled the dice and bravely put forth the ascender. I hope it outsells the scx10 in its debut year!
