Default Axial Ti-Nitride shafts in G-Transitions?

I bought a CR-01 roller recently with G-Transitions on it. The shafts are definitely scratched up, although I wouldn't say gouged, and the shocks don't seem to be leaking....

However, I want to go to Ti-Nitride coated shafts to avoid scratches, etc. in the future. The G-Transitions have 3.5mm shock shafts. I don't think G-Made has TiN shafts for them, so I was wondering if anyone has tried the 3.5 mm Axial Ti Nitride coated shafts (for the AX30092 shocks, not the stock SCX10 ones) as a replacement? Part numbers are (for different shaft lengths) AX30147, AX30146, AX30155. In theory they should work, as they are the same diameter - but theory and reality do not always match.

Anyone tried this or have alternate suggestions? Thanks!

you have used g-made shocks that don't leak? that's a 1st

as long as the diameter for seals and pistons can work together i'm sure you can make em work.

Well, I admit that I haven't had it on the trail yet. So all I can say for sure is that it doesn't leak while sitting in a shelf or while being pumped by hand. Of course, that alone makes them better than any axial shocks ever made. ;)
