Well a hacked gt3b with a 6 channel receiver is probably about your cheapest option.

Next cheapest would be the new spectrum dx4e I think it is that comes out in April. Otherwise your up to a dx4 a or Futuba 4pl which would both get you roughly 200 bucks give or take.

You can read some threads about the hacked radio or check out overkillrc.

Hope this helps.

Are you going to run the 4ws in a y harness or independently?

Is this a comp rig or a fun rig. Each one has a different radio choice.

Yea, thx I've been reading a little about them here on this forum and I'm really looking at them, if I do get one , being pretty new to this hobby will I be able to set it up when I get one ? I mean is there good directions on how to program it ? And yes I was looking at one with a six channel receiver. Thx Foghat22

I don't know how to even set it up my crawler has four ws now on a spectrum dx3e and I didn't set it up I its not independent. But I'd like to have independent tthat's what im looking at the gt3b hacked is thisva good choice?

Fun rig just for going out with my buddies crawlen, this this my fisrt build I bought my other losi crawler setup and ready to go. But in the package I bought he also included a chassis with a dig unit comp chassis, so im almost do building it have everything , now I need to setup all the electronics. And I need a 4 channel radio !!

Gt3b hacked is the way to go. It can be testing to program it at times but is a good radio for the price. If you plan on running sportsman 2.2 the radio doesn't have a fast enough refresh rate. Hope this helps. I use my gt3b in my scale rigs but I'm swapping to a 4pls in my comp rig.

Setting up the rear steer isn't that hard with the dx3e but you won't have dig as well.

Just set your 3rd channel to 3p then take off the servo horn and figure out which way to push the biotin to get it in the center.

Once you find center you can put the horn back on and try it left and right by push either side of the rocker switch and then adjust the travel with a little screw driver.

Since your looking to stay on the cheap the gt3b is probably your best when looking at that aspect.

I don't have one , so I can't speak for the programming aspect but there are tons around.

GT3B hacked. Start reading "the thread" for programming it. It's a little confusing at first but, not that hard, once you figure it out.

x2, love my FlySky GT3b. LosiKid (Overkill RC) is great vendor too!

I also forgot about the traxxas 4 channel radio, but the downfall to that is there are no adjustable end points, so although it's an option, it's not very friendly for use.
