| Metal Fume Fabrication
I'm new to rc crawling and got my first rig just this last weekend. It's a well used Axial Wraith that has some upgrades but is pretty cosmetically sad. The thing I'm most curious about is the all steel replacement body it has on it that is branded Metal Fume Fabrication. I haven't been able to find much information about them on the internet and was wondering if someone could tell me about them. I'll be posting pics this weekend asking for help in identifying what all has been upgraded on the truck and what I should work on next. Thanks for the awesome site!!!!!!

Ecoli is the one who built it and is a member here. Shoot him a pm and surely he can answer you questions.

No problem! Can we get a pic? I'm curious as to what chassis you have. |

[IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] All the electronics are stock except the motor is a 55T axial and the steering servo I can't tell because all it has is Made in Taiwan on it. The metal fume chassis is much smaller than the stock axial body but is strong as hell. anybody have any tips on improving the suspension articulation? |

Also the lower links, steering linkage, and front c hubs are aluminum. The battery in there is a 5800 Mah Traxxas so you can see just how tight the whole chassis is.

That's a nice looking rig! Thanks for posting the pics. As long as it has a tires height of flex, then that is plenty. From what I've seen, too much can get you hung in a hole or get flipped easier in certain situations. I prefer to be able to carry a tire over an obstacle.
