Servo help - Blue Bird

I have a XR10 and looking to buy a decent servo. The choices I think will work best is as bellow. Can the guys that knows best please help me here.

How does the Bluebird and Savox compare?

Savox 1283SG 30KG
savox 1256TG 20KG
Blue Bird BMS-35 30KG

Servo help - Blue Bird

I've ran both in the past. Although some of my bluebirds were reliable, the Savox is probably the better choice overall in my opinion.

Good luck

1283 of those, but wear some ear plugs! Them things r noisy! I'm guessing u already have a BEC?

I thought the expensive one would be the favorite lol!

Thanks guys. I have a 18kg Cys and it feels too week for 18kg.

Would like too try the blue bird but in South Africa the local shops sells the BB and 1283 for very little difference.

Yes i do have 3 becs that I can use, but what would be the correct amps for the 30kg Savox servo?

10 amp BEC is more then plenty for that servo.

Thanks for the help.

Correct me if I am wrong, it can be a 100amp Bec and it will do no harm to the Servo?

Except for hauling that much weight around! :)
10 amp BEC is plenty

Just used a figure lol!
Ok so I should aim for a 10 amp 6volt bec. I just insalled a Bec in my SCX last night.

The BEC basically is there to save your esc and RX, to feed a servo the power it demands when in a bind and whatnot. Funny stuff happens when the RX and esc are robbed of power randomly! If you encounter glitches while using the BEC and high torque servo, then you will want to add a small capacitor (Novak glitch buster or even one from an old computer or tv, it just needs to be rated for more voltage than your rig uses and 500-1500 micro farad. I bought a pack of 10 on eBay for 8$. The easiest cap install I've seen is on an empty channel spot in the RX if u have one, if not then solder onto esc wires or wherever is handy for u.

Just find out what the max voltage is for the servo your using and then program the BEC with a castle link or if u don't have one ( who doesn't have one right?) some places will set the voltage for u before shipping it to you. I can't remember who does that, but have seen it.
