True we need an original design....like a twin hammer....but how much as axial provided for hobbyist? Yes Axial has "Sold out" to the man but they have come a long way in what was once a small niche. The more they sell these "cookie cutter" designs the better in the end it will be for all of us with events like the g-6 and all of the scaler spinoffs. Ok no commence with the hatred thing again...

People have been making traxial references alot. I have once or twice myself. Really a big difference in companies all together.

Look at it this way all traxxas 2wd (slash, bandit, rustler, stampede) are tha same dang thing with some diffrent parts since 1994 with upgrades every now and then. I can build a vxl slash from a year 1 rustler easily. Granted they added a few newer models but how long has the maxx series been around now? Probably longer than the ax10 axles. Look how many different versions of just the slash and stampede there are to include the sponsored race slashes and the monster jam pedes.

Now look at Axial and what they have done in less time
Ax10 Scorpion series
Scx10 series
XR10 series
Wraith series
Exo Terra
Ax10 Ar60 based series
Each of these have a pretty much unique platform with some interchangeability. Yeah you can build some out of others but comparatively they are way more distinctive lines than traxxas.
I fail to really see the comparison.
