Last year, I traded for a used dingo and made it a honcho...

My now 3 year old son have been driving said Honcho for over a year now (drove a Ridgecrest when he was 1 1/2 yrs old, now he likes his "Jeep"). The ONLY thing that has broken on it was the rear axle housing when I threw it on top of a rock ledge so I could lift him up.....oops - my bad.

I replaced the stock servo horn with aluminum day one
Upgraded all the links to axial aluminum (so we could put the honcho body on...wheelbase)
Replaced the used, beat up, lagging, "no name" servo that was on it when we got it with a Tactics TSX45
Shoved a 6mm bolt (from home depot) in the hollow drive shaft
Axial beadlock wheels, R35 trep tires and wheel weights
27T axial stock motor and changed the gears to slow it down....THATS IT!!

I will tell you this - HE BEATS that thing harder than an Los Angeles street cop and he LITERALLY has not broken one single part yet!!!!!

I actually get 142 hits on that phrase, but from what I understand you'd also need the tool to insert them? I was hoping to find a complete kit, not just the inserts. And there's probably many different cheap China-copies. I'm new to this. So any help finding the correct one that actually works...?

Picked these up from Full Force to try after the insert discussion-
3mm Insert kit
Not sure if the price was fair, didn't really shop around.

Here are the results thus far,

2 installed and 3rd hole drilled, I was a little concerned about the wall thickness
at first.
(had one stripped hole marked with a Sharpie)

Kit came with 6 inserts, 6 screws, and a drill bit with electrical tape depth gauge .

The stock hole measured 2.86mm and 3.88mm enlarged.
I used a vice to slowly press them in and the outcome was a super tight insert, no split cases, and bolts up to the skid a lot tighter than stock.

I will need to go out and put it through the paces to see if they will actually work without the case eventually splitting.
