Has anyone tried something similar this yet? Might give a shot, found some 12mm hex drives at servo city that with work just have to come up with a chassis that will work better than what's in the link. Now that is some forward thinking, well done. Same concept that is to be used on some electric cars, eliminate need for driveshaft, and at some stage, axles, ultimately giving a higher clearance once the motors can be fixed to the chassis and suspension with strength to be the big concern.
