Most of the details have been released now, still a couple things that have been held back or not mentioned though.

The body button is that large silver section on the bottom of the remote. The antenna in on the front of the radio and it rotates, but I don't see rotating it ever.

Another nice thing is that there is now 5 program mixes instead of 2. This has been something I've been asking for quite a bit on this update.

The micro SD card will be nice as well. Hopefully it allows me to just upload my settings for download.

I'd like to know if the switch wheel behind the steering wheel can be rotated like the 4pk transmitters

Hey Harley,

Would you please give me a honest opinion on post #15 I really want to know when technology will catch up to these radio's. + and - buttons and directional joystick controls as well as scrolling through sub menu's is so 1990. When is Futaba going to simplify things? I know you guys that learned this type setup when you were in your teens and early 20's are use to it but for anyone else it is archaic! Would you use a cell phone or tablet that operated in such a old school way? No you would not but as far as these RC transmitters the status quo is 15+ YO technology.

Are we going to see a firmware update with more mixes for the 4pl and 4pk?

This is a different system, I would not expect updates.

Nothing I've ever asked about or asked for. I personally like the intentional pressing of the buttons on these as I feel more confident I won't bump my controls. I would not expect anything like that to change as it's nothing I've heard any driver or the development team mention as future updates/upgrades.

Harley, can you confirm that this is the final RX list?

Following receivers can be used with 4PX: R304SB, R304SB-E, R614FS, R614FF-E, R2104GF, R204GF-E & R203GF

Just wanting to verify my R603FF's won't work with this radio. If that's that case they'll get sold with my 4PKS.

Thanks.

Yes and no. There are other RX's that will work (such as the 604's as well as many other FHSS RX's). However C1 model FASST RX's like your 603's will not work as this radio does not have C1 mode.

Will the dual ESC mixing be able to use two separate PS buttons like the 4PK
or will it be based on the 4PL that you have to use a DT like a 3 pos switch?

Using the 2PS buttons doesn't use the Dual ESC mixing that is built in. The 2PS button configuration is my separate setup.
