Nothin new on my rig but have done some work on the backyard course and found a new place to crawl. There just so happens to be an old rock quarry about 5 minutes walk from my buddies so we took our trucks down for a look. It was well worth the walk back in the rain after goin thru a couple batts each. I took a bunch of video that I just posted on YouTube. Here's a little sample.

Also got some new videos of the course on there.

Thanks. None of the stuff I made was really all that difficult. No where near the quality of what some other rcc members can make but functional. Definitely fun to make your own parts and it's rewarding when they actually work like you had in mind. Have fun with making your rig all your own.
I haven't made any changes to the MT in while. I had a few things planned but it would have required some major reworking and I'm happy with the performance of the current setup so it'll stay as is for now. In fact I just pulled the hitec servo off to put in my new 1.9 wraith build. I've been meaning to pick up a Solar d772 to try anyways. Now I have a good reason to go ahead and get one.

Love what your doing with the Exceed rig. Got a MaxStone10 that I take out almost every day. Glad to see im not the only one that is budget minded and not afraid to fab parts.

This was an awesome addition. When I can find the thread again I'll give credit to the right person fir the idea. Not only does it protect a lot, it added about 100g nice and low. Good for me cuz I want to keep my wheels themselves as light as possible and still stay planted to the ground.

You can find those plates at your neighborhood Home Depot. Here's the part I believe:

They also have a longer one if needed:

Here's the tread that shows mine but I forgot where it originated from. It was deep in another thread.
