Which is a better transmission? Ax10 or losi comp crawler?

So I am thinking about building my first mega mud truck and was wondering which would be my best option transmission wise. I have a Ax10 tranny and a Losi tranny. Will be running scx10 axles. Thanks

I would think the Losi would be geared a bit on the high side for such big tires.

I'd probably also think about 32P if you are going to be beating on it.

I will be going 32 pitch regardless which trans. Good point tho

Not necessarily for the tires, but very much so for the diff gearing.
Will require some additional planetary gear or so to bring the revs down unless used with a <1000Kv motor.

You can't use 32p in the Losi unless you find 32p idler and slip gears.

The AX10 tranny is the only viable option!

If it's built right, I would say a ax-10 trans but I've never used a Losi tranny so I wouldn't know how to compare them.
