Cappu aluminum axles...anyone have them? Anyone have these? Cappu Aluminum Complete Front Rear Axle Kit Silver Fits Axial SCX10 | eBay |
Re: Cappu aluminum axles...anyone have them? Yup, I was having a look at them two days ago. They are priced high considering their place of origin. |
Re: Cappu aluminum axles...anyone have them? You think they're expensive? |

They are made in china, hence they should not be priced as if they were made in US. |
Re: Cappu aluminum axles...anyone have them? They aren't. Price out a complete set of Currie's from VP. |
Re: Cappu aluminum axles...anyone have them? Those look like junk. The price is right if your in the market for suck though! |
Re: Cappu aluminum axles...anyone have them? The only good thing out of China is their #1 export CRAWFISH....and even that China crawfish sucks compared to good old Louisiana crawfish farms. Hard to believe but it's true. I hate China and Asia in general and the odd part is I am Vietnamese, Chinese, and Tawianese but born and raised in Houston, TX in not the best of areas. So my perspective on a lot of things in life are influenced by all of those cultures combined. |
Re: Cappu aluminum axles...anyone have them? It doesn't matter where you buy from, You get what you pay for. That's it and for the record a lot of things that say made in the USA are made in china and put together in the states. You wanna spend your money wisely then research your purchase. There is someone on here that has bought every cheap part out there and usually regrets it after and buys again. |
Re: Cappu aluminum axles...anyone have them? i guess the answer is no. but you cant tell quality from a picture. like billy said, do the research (like you are) or be willing to risk your money. its a good thing no one does this with a kit that is manufactured overseas. or none of us would be in the hobby. just thought there should be some perspective. to be honest, they look stronger than an ABS kit from tamiya. |
Re: Cappu aluminum axles...anyone have them? Well, finally getting an answer from the seller, they have no idea if Axial's gears will work, so no purchase for me. And no, not all stuff from China is shit. One example: Bought a set of driveshafts for my wraith (35T brushed on 4s) from Topcad. The wraith is now on it's third owner, still on 4s but now with a 27T in it. Same shafts, no problems. |

The pics look like strong housings but what of the material s it the cheapest aluminium grade avaiable? IO hate buying anything Chinese...I hate the way Chinese and Asians conduct business, I am a comercial realtor and they think I am Vietnamese because of my darker skin tone and that I am 6'11." I bet that front pumpkin against a burried rock wtill crack itl. |

Re: Cappu aluminum axles...anyone have them? I really should just bite the bullet and get the housings and all associated parts from Vanquish. |
Re: Cappu aluminum axles...anyone have the So umm my gf is in China right now down south kind of like the rednecks if Asia but a lot more friendlier. Weird how that is like that in the States as well....but anyways apparently the commie rat patrols with their old WWII rifles walking around the streets don't care. They don't care if you grow marijuana right on your front porch!! I bet those Chinese drug dealers don't even know what good Mary Jane even looks like. Stop trying China!! Whatever comes from your slave shops of overworked underpaid women and children with no EPA regulations in the end is a cheap clone of an original product that is worth a lot of money or power. That has always been Chinese culture...to cater to the poor by ripping off the pioneers that invented or developed the product. They are so blinded by greed that they are only hurting their own country. Communism. Not saying democracy is totally awesome, but it's the lesser of two evils. I'm may have some Chinese in my blood but boy I tell you what I bleed American. |
