Default Shock springs

I'll start by say my apologies if this is in the wrong section...

I bought a set if gmade ts01 scale shocks for my scx10... The problem is the soft spring are a little to soft for the rears but the firm springs are to hard... Is the a trick like heating up the hard springs to maybe make them loose some of there tension or anything else I can do? Thanks in advance for the help guys!
