For those who want to know about the 3-Link

This is how I set up my 3-link suspension. It is so simple and affective that I don't think there could be an easier way.

very nice nylint full of mods. The four wheel steering is very interesting. Do you use the stock electronic system of the nylint?
Bye

thorn4run Is this the same principle that TRACK-BAR of TWISTED, that I have to install on ((BLACK-CAB)) ? THANK

Hay there Skorpionpride, to answer you question I'm using a Traxxas TQ3 radio and the 4WS works off one channel with a Y connector for the two servos. To make them turn in the right direction the front servo horn points down and the rear points up. If not set up this way the tires will all turn in the same direction.

Hay Texx, your suspension is the same idea. With just the one center link being extended I thought it would be real easy to bend it or brake it so the two links on each side act as track bars keeping every thing centered and nice and strong. I like you skid plates you have on your axles!

Thank you THORN4RUN for this information, I love your SCORPION, I believe that I will buy one of them. That will change me models JEEP. My first NYLINT was a SCORPION, I have to keep all the parts in the event of breaking on ((BLACK-CAB)) and I have to give the body to my small son.
I begin my research on EBAY today for this SCORPION. http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/<a hr...1012464412.jpg[/IMG]

In car cam.

Its been so cold here in South Dakota that ya don't want to go outside so I hooked up my in car camera and did some crawling while staying nice and warm inside the house. I got this 10.5" portable TV that goes in your car or can be used indoors and connected the reciever for my camera to it and sat at the kitchen table while my crawler was outside on my rock pile. This is kind of the reason I kept the Scorpion body so I have a cage to protect my camera. Although your vision is limited with the camera it was still a blast to see the obstacle, start climbing it, see nothing but sky knowing full well that your not going to make it and next thing ya know your seeing the rocks on the other side of the climb! Keep in mind that some of the obstacles in my rock garden can be hard to conquer when standing right there watching where your going. It does help that I know what lines work and what doesn't. Can you see the camera in the last pic? Its about the size of one of the headlights.

thorn4run I like the idea of the small camera inside the SCORPION, you can play spy in your district. :) :)

I love your SCORPION, I would like that mine resembles your.

THANK YOU for all these pics ..

THORN4RUN, I know that it is a little late, but if you had some pics of anchorings of your link and your frame, that would help me with better including/understanding your system. ((IF POSSIBLE)) THANK ..:) .

Great job thorn4run, question though.

Quote:

Got a Traxxas 2055 servo for $10 and put that in the front. Not enough power but don't want to spend $$$$ on a high torque servo.

I thought that the 2055 was a high torque servo?????? It still doesn't have enough power?? Or is it because you have 4 wheel steering?? Thanks.

also, glad you are happy with the 3 link, because thats what I descided to go with. Makes me feel better.
