| PTI Goliath mmt....
I just scored a great deal on a almost new one for 100 bux. I'm gonna ext it eventually and have already done a steering mod to it. Does anyone have a manual online or link they could send me to the manual and parts list? I didn't get any paperwork with it so I'm clueless. Any suggestions to get the most from this truck would be greatly appreciated? Shaun |

the best way to get the most out of that truck is ebay..... just kidding. I would just stick to the normal stuff, different tires, custom 4 link and chassis, keep it low and flexible, one thing to keep in mind is that it is smaller then normal, so dont get to crazy on the tires, masher 2000's would be pushing it. the pti rock kit has imex red rocks and it makes it top heavy. also beef up the links - and most of all, post pics and have fun!!! Welcome to the board. |

Here's a couple pics of it before I started tinkering. I'm gonna flip the chassis so the batt is in front. Shaun |

Funny you say that as that is exactly what I'm gonna do. Well sort of. I'm just gonna move my steering to the other end and I'm set. I'm not sure what the motor is in it now but I'm just gonna switch the wires as it has fixed timing so it should be fine til I get a lathe motor for it. I might go bl in my force crawler in which case I already have the motor. Is killerhobbies the only place that carries parts for these trucks? I went to pti's site and didn't really find much info there. Shaun |

Killer Hobbies is about the only place I've found, but they seem pretty good to deal with so far.

Thank you so vary much. The guy I got it from said it didn't have 1 when he got it just the addendum sheets. He built it guessing where things should go. He did good but I wanna tear it down and redo it to be sure. I'm gonna shim the diffs then as well. I'll get lockers down the road but not right away. Thanks again, Shaun |

Yeah it was too good of a deal for me to pass up. I love the look of the axles as they look alot like my force axles. Maybe somebody will start to offer up aftermarket stuff for it and they'll take off. K B I sent you a pm. Shaun |

change out that servo mount for the one they use on the crawler version and get some good tires, you could prolly buy the stuff straight from them to turn it into an awesome crawler And dont listen to the bashers!!!!

I did change the servo mounting by putting it where the steer lockouts go. 1 rod to each turnbuckle and then another to the servo. This puts the servo above the axle using the stock mount and gets rid of the stock bad steering. At least it was bad on this one. I haven't started the hunt for new rims and tires yet as those will be the last thing I prob do. The body also as it will be longer and the stocker won't look right. I might buy longer links but chances are I'll make my own. I found some square tubing at my lhs and it looks cool after the links are done. Here's how it looks on my force crawler. Shaun |

Here's a couple new pics. I changed the steering around. Switched the front to the back. Gonna test it then tidy up the wiring and what not plus I need to redrill body mount holes. Gotta raise a little cash so I can place my tower order so I can get it ext. and then I might be happy. I think I'm gonna try my hand at brazing and build a tuber for it. And 1 with my other 2 crawlers. All gettin in a little flex! lol So if mashers are pushing it for its size does anyone have any recommendations for wheels and tires for it? The stockers will be too small once I ext it. Shaun |

2.2 Masher 2Ks will work fine on that. Any 2.2 tire will...
