I was just wondering if they were very durable,, and if you can shift well under full throttle? or do you have to stop to shift. I will be running brushless power not sure on size yet I'm thinking something around 3300kv thanks for any help.

That transmission isn't garbage, but the Wraith doesn't need it. It doesn't have the suspension or the handling for high-speed driving, so it doesn't need multiple gear ratios to enable it to crawl *and* drive fast. The Yeti is a much more likely vehicle for that sort of thing.

I am going to or I should say I was. I'm putting in my mud bogger so I could shift between high and low for traction but the more I think about it probably would not be that reliable so I am just going to go with built ax10 trans. Thanks for the info though Quote:

I use the AX2 in a couple of my trucks. Haven't broken anything yet. If your worried about running big power through it just buy the upgraded output shafts. You won't break after that |

My son and I each run the AX2 in our Pro4 powered Wraiths. No problems to report. EDIT: And yes you can shift on the fly. I feel the most important detail is to have a good radio that you can set the end points of the shift servo. We use the 4PL. |
