I was his designer for his first 4 scalers. Communication has been intermittent for a while. I'm not really sure what's going on. We have business arrangements to conclude and I'm getting a bit worried myself.

Wow and this was after he had told you that the body was in stock and it was already or to be shipped? Im glad I didn't pull the trigger and order a EB body from him. I would have been in the same boat as you, waiting for the part or a refund. Its sad that it took you this long to get something resolved. Sorry you had to go through that man.

Yeah when I asked him about one he said he had plenty of them in stock...

Obviously this guy is lacking with customer service skills, hopefully if he starts selling his product again he will continue to deal with places like rpp, I would rather buy from a reputable store, I don't understand how someone could have a great opportunity making a product that has a good sized demand and people throwing money at him and just ignoring it

Crazy, I have been wanting a body from him for a while but don't want to order til he gets his stuff together, apparently this guy is not serious about his business

Still no updates I am guessing. I'm one of the guys that got stiffed in an eBay auction and have never received the product. I'm down for 2 or 3 bronco bodies if he would just make them. He'll sell the mold to someone else and let them make them!

Reading this whole thread just sucks! I love both his K5 and EB bodies, they *were the best you could buy! Killer looking and super strong, almost hold up better than a hard body does.

I really hope he makes a return to the hobby at some point, does anyone know what really happened to him?

I think he's just busy with other stuff. I had the grill of the rubi crack on me in the corners but I think thats my own fault. Would be nice to get a replacement.

I've ran my EB body for 3 years worth of hard local comps and 2 brutal G6 events, it has held up amazingly well. The K5 body has only been on for 1 local comp season and 1 G6, everyone is always asking me where they can get one. I hate telling them that they can't anymore...

Welcome to rcc, where sometimes a great vendor goes away...... first real locker was my Tyler v locker. Everyone wanted em........ couldn't get em. Baby tube shark.... that cat hosed a bunch and quite a few of us got nothing........ gone too. So many to list. Maybe we turn this thread into vendors that went away with their great products..... team 3 six....... hands bros......

There was alot of R&D on these scalers, I know! Seems silly to quit at this point since all the heavy lifting is done.

I can't believe Kurt would just bail without saying something. I thought he was on break from his new job for the summer, so I assume there would be some catch up or at least an explanation. If we don't hear anything before next semester starts, then we likely won't.

The worst part is just not knowing.
