Default Scaler and Comp Rig Questions

After getting my scx10 and running it a couple times I have quickly decided I like crawling a lot when I had originally thought I would only be trailing.

I assume guys here have a comp crawling type rig and a scale trail rig?

Since I love the scale aspect, considering making my Rubicon scx into a hilux front with a cage rear. Will the smaller hilux body with rear cage be ideal for comps?

What is a good scale looking setup for 1.9 scx?

Fellow PNW crawler First you need to decide what class you want to run in, Take a look at the SORRCA rule set, sounds like C1 or C2 is where you will be. There are some definitions for tire size and coverage that will define what class you will be in. Body choice is critical in that decision as you also have to meet some minimium requirements there.

Check out some of the local boards. Washington has a few as does Oregon... great people up here in the PNW. You can PM me for links to the locals....
