Default Better Comp Shafty Diff, non scale.

My AX10 gen 1 diffs are neat I guess, but so much money has to go into them to make them comp-able. Bully tubes, lock outs mods, steering, everything.

I ama kinda new to the now scene, been out for a bit, but after seeing some of the comp shafty builds I decided to do a build. Maybe there is an axel out there that will meet my needs that I dont know about.

Is there a "Bully 2"ish axel for the shafty guy? One that may be expensive but is good to go stock? I dont mind spending $150 - 200 on a diff, but I want it to be good to go. If not I'll build my ax10 diffs up if I must, just thought there must be something better. Not really into running anymore axial stuff, want to get away from them.

Was hoping the Worminators would be a good choice but digging around has revealed the horrible support for these diffs by rc4wd (not knocking them, just seems they are pretending the worms never happened), horrible gearing, and discontinuation is no good. Was hoping rc4wd would have a great option out there. Maybe the Black Widows?... those look meh, and are waaaaay too scale and high maintenance looking + heavy.

Well, I am going back to my research, anyone have a suggestion, or know a guy who sells custom diffs or something please drop a line for sure.

Cheers!

Maybe the vanquish scx10 or wraith curries are the way to go, but still axial and vp. weary about these companies dropping support on stuff.

I wouldn't worry too much about them dropping support. They have been good about it for quite some time now.
If you already have a set of axles just mod them. The Ax10 axles are still popular. The Axial AR60's are a good one also

I hear the gcm gear head axles are awesome, but I haven't ever owned them...

If you want to buy a complete ready to run HD axles, I would say

U4 COMPETITION Front Axle - Super Shafty

U4 COMPETITION Rear Axle - Super Shafty

They are nothing you could not put together yourself, but they save you the hassle of ordering from 10 vendors and waiting
