Arrow HPI's New Crawler King Release.....

Well guys, it looks like the the Crawler King is back.
It looks very similar to the last one but it seems to have fully waterproof electronics, HB Rovers and a '73 Ford Bronco body (Yes, that's right, its not a Jeep ). Looks cool but the price is getting near to the price of a SCX100 Deadbolt sooooo, I hope it has something else up it sleeves. A more scale 1.9 would be nice.....

Default HPI's New Crawler King Release.....

Few more pics.....

And good to see some proper tires on a RTR.
Although I reckon the body is very similar if not the same as the old Defender or Jeep, just different paint and stickers.

No, that's a Bronco body. That's not the sort of thing you can change with a few stickers. The width and roll cage areas are similar between the three because they were all originally designed to fit the Savage. Beyond that, they are nothing alike.

Ok, I take back the Jeep part after looking at photos, but the Defender, it pretty similar, just with a different hood and has a bumper.... but that's just my 2 cents

All it needs is a set of narrowed emaxx tires and a big brushless setup on 3s and u have a mega truck. I may just pick one up, had the og one way back and it was fun

Hasn't it almost been a year since this thing was first announced?

HPI appears to be dying a slow death...

I wouldn't know but it's just come up on TH so I would've thought that they'd be up yo date. But we're talking about HPI here so it wouldn't be a huge surprise. I only started this thread because I couldn't find one on RCC. And I definitely agree, HPI are seeming die a slow death.
