Yeah it was worth the try for sure, but there was a lot of things that required you to buy the other half ( I.E. tires, winch, seat, jack stands )

Or the one dude who got a damaged bumper and two left hand sides of a TF2 chassis.

Yeah, the fact that they didn't respond at all speaks VERY loudly about their CS.
Hopefully the guy tried contacting them directly and got something figured out.
Personally I would never spend more than $100 on mystery ANYTHING. I'm too particular about my parts and what I spend my money on. I understand that some parts can be sold to recoup supposedly most or more than you put in, but that's a big gamble, and frankly not worth my time.

Yeah, these boxes seem pretty random for specificity of our hobby. It would be a waste of money for me I think. Got excited at first then once the initial "impulse to buy" wore off, I decided against it.

I just got my $200 dollar box yesterday and couldn't be happier. I can and will use about 95% of it. Couple of odd balls like the parts tree for the mojave.

I cant convince myself to drop a blind $100 on one of these. I could only do so knowing i could easily trade parts back and forth, but with my luck i would end up with parts for random things nobody uses.

got my 2 $100 boxes today. both boxes had identical items. i was hoping for different stuff in each but i'm pretty happy with what it came with. here is the list (x2):

1/10 Warn 9.5CTI winch
1 pair 1.9 dirt grabbers
1 pair IROK 2.2 super swampers
2 pairs 2.2 boggers
servo tape
1/10 3 ton jackstand set
universal snorkel
king kong tow shackle
racing seat
some aluminum rod ends, screws and stickers

all in all i'm good. i'll keep it, it was a gamble but I don't feel like I got screwed.

I made out pretty well with mine I opened today.

One full set of 2.2 boggers, full set of 1.55 iroks, warn winch, wraith inner fenders, servo tape, Mickey Thompson metal hubs, micro crawler boggers, King Kong shackle, rc4wd 65 turn motor, bunch o stickers, diamond plate fender covers and a pinion gear for an axle I don't have lol. But all except the micro tires and pinion are going to be used.

Wowwww... Sort of glad I didn't cave in to this... No offense to those who did, of course. Looks like there was a chance at some cool stuff. I dunno what goes on exactly, but their lack of virtually ANYTHING in stock pissed me off.

Talking Re: RC4WD Black Friday Mystery Box

RC4WD has found a way to move orphans and some (perhaps) slower selling items.

Hard to believe so many have fallen for it.

I work too hard for a mystery box
